GSD was founded by Dr. Refael Gatt, a physicist and expert in Infra Red (“IR”) systems, with the aim of developing new and advanced people screening techniques. Dr. Gatt developed PASSIVIEW®, an Explosive Detection System that presents a commercially-viable solution to current imaging technology problems, and which is based on TTS technology. Utilizing passive IR imaging, PASSIVIEW is aimed at the detection of potentially hazardous objects or materials being carried on humans.

Using TTS, GSD’s system is able to successfully image the suspected individual and detect anomalies such as explosives, weapons or other hazardous objects by following the thermal response to transient temperature variations.
