About PassiView
The TTS method used for identifying hidden objects is uniquely suited for the development of automatic detection to assist, or even replace, the operator. The hidden object is distinguished by its physical properties, which can be objectively identified by a digital computer, as opposed to the subjective nature of the identification available by other technologies, which must involve operator judgment or is limited by the ability to recognize specific shapes from a library of previously identified threats.
As of the end of January 2008, GSD has demonstrated its ability to achieve automatic detection over the upper body area of the scanned subject. This capability is now being expanded in our laboratories to include all of the scanned profile.
A mobile prototype unit is already operating, capable of scanning the individual subject, requiring only a minimal footprint .
